Andrew Szentirmay – Director
Andrew graduated from The University of NSW with a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in 1985. After a brief stint in the laboratory, he launched a career as a professional salesperson in Life Sciences. With a strong passion for Molecular Biology and Genomics, and at a time when these fields were rapidly advancing, Andrew thrived on the challenges of working with start-up teams at companies like Life Technologies (GIBCO/BRL) and Corbett Research. He also played a key role in introducing the Qiagen Portfolio of Purification Technologies to the Australian market.
Andrew believes that success in this industry hinges on a genuine passion for working with people, continuously striving to offer solutions that enhance scientific efficiency, and boosting confidence with innovative products, quality people, and exceptional service. This philosophy led him to establish Gene Target Solutions in 2009. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family and friends, caring for his horses, listening to music, and staying active through activities like squash and running.

Pedro Ragazzini – Service Engineer & Operations Manager
Pedro is a professional Electronics Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the Life Sciences Instrumentation field. For more than 16 of those years, he worked at Corbett Research, where he gained extensive expertise by successfully managing the Service, Production, and later, the Operations Department. He joined Gene Target Solutions in its early days and has been a dedicated team member ever since.
Pedro is deeply committed to delivering exceptional customer service and support. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities and sports, especially windsurfing, alpine skiing, and reef snorkelling. In his limited spare time, he also runs his own engineering company, Labaux Pty Ltd.
